Here's an insight into why we decided to release our dressmakers planner...

Working in a sewing shop is somewhat inspiring! Freya and I always have projects on the go and many more ideas than we have time for! How do we decide which projects to work on? We have to prioritise based on our own style, upcoming events and what excites us! We designed the dressmakers planner to help us organise our sewing plans, and we hope it will help you to organise yours too!

Previously both Freya and myself used our scruffy notebooks to plan out our makes for the month, season and year. But we wanted something more cohesive to streamline our excessive creativity and making plans to help us focus on what we need and want to make!

The planner includes sections to help you think through your making plans and design a wardrobe of coordinating garments which will help you celebrate your own personal style.

There is room for 20 projects which should be enough to last a good 6 months to a year depending on your style of sewing. We are very fond of quick makes and so having a lot of room for our projects was important to us!

Each project section will help you design your garment, track your progress with the help of a handy key and tick box tracker and review your make to help you organise your blogging/vlogging or give you ideas for your next make.

We hope that by the time you reach the end of the planner you will have created a wardrobe full of lovely clothes and have a good sense of what you love to make a wear!
